| Is Judas Priest coming to Seoul sometime soon ? My friend told me they were, and I just want to verify. Where ? Ticket prices ? |

I'd agree that all their albums from the first half of the 80s were outstanding. My favourite is probably Live After Death. Then they just descended into wankery. |

Some of Bruce Dickinson's solo CDs (Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding) are just amazing. I wished that Iron Maiden would have evolved into that sort of sound.
I didn't just get tired of 'Maiden because of Janick. I haven't cared for the production on their last few CDs, Steve Harris's overactive bass playing, some of the chord progressions that they use over, and over and over again (listen to the end of "Out of the Silent Planet").
And for the record, I started losing interest after Seventh Son. |

I've seen Priest 4 times (fifth is in 2.5 weeks) and met the band twice. I read that they might play Before The Dawn because it was a big hit in Korea. |

I raise you Powerslave with 2 Minutees to Midnight, Aces High, Flash of the Blade, and of course, the title track.
Maiden are my all time favourite band. I even flew to Tokyo in February to see them live where they were outstanding. All this talk of them going downhill after the 80's in nonsense. Dance of Death (as already mentioned) is one of their best albums and was released in 2003. |

Agreed. Saying number of the beast is the best is saying that they only had 3 good albums, and that was the first album with Bruce? Pure IM ignorance. Powerslave rules. I do really like the Paul Dianno albums though (Iron Maiden and Killers). |

Same thing happened to Fear Factory in 97 in Baltimore. Their UHaul was stolen. The Geeks from Korea, last year in San Francisco. Their van was stolen with all their gear, most of it borrowed. Film School, From San Francisco, in Philadelphia, two years ago. That was fd up, someone stole their van, parked in a hotel parking lot, which was gated up and locked. They jumped in the van and drove through the fence, just like the A Team would have done.
When someone steals one instrument, it's nothing. But when a touring band's entire rig and gear are stolen, usually it's because they owe money, to their record company. |
