Another line the ct is feeding me. I cannot tell the difference btw lies & truth anymore. Is this true? I highly doubt it..

I wanted it in my Korean acct but was told not possible. I knew it sounded fishy. Another battle.

Are you working for a public school? If so, quit dealing with the coteacher. Let her know you don't trust her. Tell her straight up you're tired of her lies. Then deal with the finance office personnel directly and with the school inspector for your school's region. Every public school with a foreign English teacher has been issued a nifty manual which tells them in detail how to pay you and manage your end-of-contract payments.

If you're working for a hagweon, do not plan on leaving the country immediately at the end of your contract! Take an extra couple of days to ensure you have time to file complaints at all the appropriate governmental agencies: Labor Board, Pension, Tax, National Health, Office of Education. Find a friend here who will appear for you at these offices. You can even designate that person while you're overseas. All you have to do is go to a Korean consulate to complete a short form.

It is a public school and I will be leaving the country after my contract ends..but only for like a week. I am fed up with his lies...unfortunately, there's no higher personnel that speaks English. I'm in a very rural area.

Since I will be staying in the country, I want it in my Korean acct not my home acct. Anyway, I know it's bs for sure so I'm ready to argue with him about it. I didn't want to involve wenise again til I knew for sure. I must have called 10 times this month alone thanks to this psycho ct.

I'm not sure if these is current info but in 2006, I went into the pension office with a round trip ticket ICN-MNL MNL-ICN and told them to cash me out. They asked me why I was going to the PI and I said I was going to chill, come back to Korea, get my stuff and go home. Wang, they threw the whole loot into my Korean bank acct.

At the risk of sounding sexist, you just go in with your documentation and make nice with the bored desk girls and your request will be granted.

Yea I've always known my ct to be a liar & have called him on his several lies. Anyway, he wanted either a check from my home bank or the acct and routing number. I told him I dont have that info and cannot access it from here. Who knows what tomorrow will bring...

I left in January, showed the pension office my one way ticket home, in February my pension was in my Korean bank account, and came back here in June. No problem.
