Ok smokers have been discriminated aginst for way to long. I will tell you the reasons why its not fair.

Ok, so in America ( when I was in S FL) all the smokers have to sit outside to smoke at restaraunts. We sit outside in the heat and humidity and in the cold to get our nicotime fix. This is good for non-smokers b/c the wait to get a table at a restaraunt is brought down considerably due to smokers sitting ouside. The all of a sudden nice fall weather comes along and people want to sit outside. Then they do the cough, cough b/c the smokers are also sitting outside. Well you know what, we had to endure the grueling heat and cold winters but suddenly their is nice weather and you want to sit outside. Thats our territory.

Secondly, when I am at a restaraunt and have to listen to babies cry and kids run around me yelling and screaming that is not fun. All of that screaming gives me indigestion and ruins my appetite and dinner. Can we ban screaming kids and babies. Why don't the mothers or fathers take the kids outside. If we want to smoke we go outside. And I don't want to see a women breast feeding at a restaraunt either, its called a breast pump, use it. So my point is I have to put up with bratty kids screaming, why not ban them.

Lastly, in Korea the people smoke alot, they spit alot, they push each other and its constantly crowded which is great. I am not going to complain "Oh, the crowds are so annoying" blah, blah, blah. I am in Seoul, SK and I was not expecting this many people but I have to learn to deal with it and adpat to make my stay here pleasent and I have. I realize the smokers here are not considerate but take 2 STEPS BACK if they blow smoke in your face. thats all. If it is stilll blowing in your face change locations. I always try to be considerate for other people but if your at a bar complaining about the smoke then leave. If a bar is to crowded for me I leave. I don't b*tch and moan.

Now when I quit smoking hopefully soon I will join the other team and b*tch with the rest of you about smokers. Til' then, lay of us!!

Nolegirl, serious question: How old are you? I imagine you to either be about 21 or over 38. Nowhere in between. Am I anywhere close?

I have to say I'm intrigued by you. How much of this is accurate:

You're short. You have either brown, curly hair or blonde, straight hair. You like to wear clothes that show your figure. Maybe a few extra pounds, but you're confident so who cares. You wear clothes that have cartoons or humourous, sometimes bawdy phrases on them.

You enjoy beer, but not the snooty stuff. You like to go out with the guys, but you have a few really close girlfriends. You call each other 'girlfriend' or 'sister' or something else equally empowering. You consider yourself a feminist. You're not afraid to speak your mind, and if others don't like that, it's their problem.

I actually wasted some time reading through your rant.

Gotta give you props for one of the best sentences ever;

"OUTSIDE IS OUR TERRITORY"

WOW!

The bratty kids won't kill you...your 2nd smoke will kill us. Big, big, big difference. Now on the bar and the outside at the restaurant thing you are totally right. If smokers are forced to be outside the restaurant then don't complain when you want to sit out there too. If non-smokers don't like it they should move. Also, in a bar, what the hell do people expect. It is going to be smokey. Suck it up.

However, walking down the street, in the elevator, in bathrooms, the hallways of apartment buildings smokers should be more considerate. People don't want to be breathing 2nd handsmoke. It is actually really unhealthy.

These days I'm really annoyed at smokers in the their cars. Sitting in traffic I have no where to go and can't escape while their smoke comes into my car. I roll up my windows it still comes in through the vents. I know this is petty, but seriously I don't want to be breathing people's smoke. Like I said in the other thread, I wouldn't fart in their car, so why should I have to breath their smoke??????? And don't get me started with throwing cigarette butts on the ground...freaking dirty, disgusting smokers.

OP, mankind does not need tobacco and cigarettes to exist, but it does need babies. For you to compare the two shows your ignorance.

LMAO Laughing Laughing Laughing

This is the funniest thing I've read in months! Thanks to the OP for such a misguided way to think and have pity on smoker's!

Now for the serious part of this post Crying or Very sad

If you really believe non smokers get to sit down quicker because of smokers being outside, than I suggest you check your nuts and bolts one more time. I have never heard such a sack of bull in all my life. Picture it...... Non smokers and smokers segregated in two different areas. Bologni! If you cant wait for the next drag while in line, than that's your own fault. It should also tell you something about your addiction.

Second, it doesn't take a bird brain to know that second hand smoke kills people... I don't want to breath in your toxins thank you very much! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil If you smoke, thats your choice, but having other people breath it in without none is not right.

I suggest you get off of your high and mighty soap box and take a box of smarties. Call me in the morning and maybe the IQ scale will tilt a pinch!

Kids running around and being allowed causes you indigestion? Do you work at a hagwon? If so, you must have long days and constant indigestion.

[quote="monkinwonderland"]Nolegirl, serious question: How old are you? I imagine you to either be about 21 or over 38. Nowhere in between. Am I anywhere close? Your wrong

I have to say I'm intrigued by you. How much of this is accurate:

You're short. Wrong 5'4 which is average for female

You have either brown, curly hair or blonde, straight hair ok the blonde straight hair your right on but I ralrely comb it so it looks curly so your sort of wrong.

You like to wear clothes that show your figure. You mean I like to dress like a hooker which is 100% accurate

Maybe a few extra pounds ummm.. no I am 125 and dont' question me about my weight you crazy man,

but you're confident so who cares. Actually I really care what people think of me but I lack the abiltiy to think before talking 99.9% of the time so I do the whole I don't care thing when I make no sense. I lost my dignity along time ago and I will never get it back.

You wear clothes that have cartoons or humourous, sometimes bawdy phrases on them. Dead wrong, I do not wear clothes with sayings or faces on them or labels of any kind. Oh except the shirt that says "I phuck on the first date" BUT I only wear when I am desperate to get laid. Its a give-in

You enjoy beer, but not the snooty stuff. Coors light count as snooty. The bottle turns blue when cold and that is pretty advanced!! And after the first few drinks I will drink whatever alcohol is free, b/c I am poor!!

You like to go out with the guys, no, i like to have sex with guys

but you have a few really close girlfriends. Did you read my post 2 weeks back how I have no friends here??

You call each other 'girlfriend' or 'sister' or something else equally empowering. I am not a feminsit or a hippie, how dare you ever call me any of those 2 things. If I called my friend "sister" I would kick my own a$$

You consider yourself a feminist. Never!!!

You're not afraid to speak your mind I am on an internet chat room and know one nows who I am, so I say whatever I feel like saying b/c you don't know who I am, thats why,

and if others don't like that, it's their problem. Actually when I right something I obsessively go back and look at my post and then have to come up with a witty response to anyone that bashed my ideals

You have me pegged all wrong. I am not a feminist nor a hippie. I take showers!

ummm.. enjoy your ealry death, second hand smoke is a b*tch in Korea.

Why don't we get rid of all the cars then since we have to breathe in all of the pollutants from that.

Why don't we all just go hug a tree, oh wait there are none in Korea.

All I am saying is I like Korea b/c I can smoke anywhere, I can spit, I can burp, I can slurp, I can push, I can shove and I thoroughly enjoy it.

I am saying when I am out I will step away from the crowd to smoke so I agree but this is Korea and a couple of foreigners screaming about 2nd hand smoke ain't gonna change anything. So if the smoke is in your face TAKE 2 STEPS BACK!!!

Typhoon, I like your post

And kids screaming is making my blood pressure go up and I can have a heart attack, so control your kids, put them on leashes or something!!
