Just little under 9 months I already got a bad sector from my WD 500 gig HDD. It was easy getting my HDD getting replaced back home but how about getting it done here in Korea?
Any help would be cool. Thanks |

I have replaced several HDDs from different manufacturers. Just take it back, wait a couple days for the RMA and get the replacement.
A few of the larger retailers will just replace it off the shelf if you are a regular customer or if they can confirm they were the seller from the serial number.
IF the was a HDD as part of a system (as compared to just a OEM part) the retailer should replace it while you wait.
