| My computer and monitor went out during a lightning strike near my apartment. The computer rebooted (must have built in surge protection) but the monitor died. Do you have surge protection for your electronics? |

What kind of monitor is it?
A Desktop PC uses a power supply unit which is usually the first thing to replace in an event like this.
For monitors they usually have an inverter with fuses that can be replaced. At least that's what a technician searches for first. Not sure on a CRT monitor but I think those usually end up toasted. |

I'd like to buy some surge protectors. What are they called in Korean? All I could find were power bars with switches only. A gmarket link would be great if anyone has located them.
My bidet got fried last storm...cost 50K to repair! Whole circuit-board had to be replaced. Toilets are getting complicated.
Cheers. |
