North Korean, not South Korean. That's misleading. |

The athlete is ethnically Korean.
South Koreans constantly refer to their country as Korea. I find that misleading as well. |

I thought this was good..."IOC medical commission chairman Arne Ljungqvist said... "My interpretation is this was probably the result of poor information given to the athlete, who did not have the knowledge of what to avoid and what she was allowed to take,"
I wonder why the chairman would think that Koreans are fed poor information, he must've followed the Mad Cow/MBC PD Notebook debacle. |

Maybe a south Korean will be the next to test positive. The Professor Hwang of the olympics.
Time to hand back that "Gmm medal". Oh the shame! |

South Korean athlete fails: Netizens find out where he goes to school, works, lives and harass him until he takes his own life and gets a job with Microsoft in America.
North Korean athlete fails: He's taken to a soccer field and shot in the back of the head. |

North Korean (or anyone with a shred of Korean heritage, a la Michelle Wie, or the African-Korean-American Ward) athlete wins: South Koreans praise him as being simply "Korean" and take partial credit for his accomplishments.
The fact that Wie and Ward have almost nothing to do with Korea except their endorsement deals is apparently irrelevant to the Koreans. A Korean wouldn't even be able to converse with them, as they have shown in interview they don't understand or speak Korean. Even better is the fact that Mr. Ward has black heritage, and the Koreans have shown time and time again that they are less than friendly towards this (and others they view as "inferior) ethnic group. |
