At least he (Dane) can play the part of the funny/obnoxious frat boy with such insane perfection that it's hilarious...and in general he's just funny at situational humor.
Carlos Mencia, however, is just.fucking.horrible.

The first season of Mind of Mencia had a lot of hilarious moments. From what I understand, most of the moments must have been stolen from others. The latest season is painfully unfunny, presumably because he's gotten more squeamish about stealing material.
Sarah Silverman. I think she's brilliant. The episode of her show in which she attempted to learn what it's like to be black by going around town in blackface makeup was one of the most incisively satirical pieces of comedy ever made. I can reliably use her as a gauge; if you like her comedy, I'd probably be interested in hanging out with you. |
