|
|
I have a friend who has been at a public school for 2 months but wants to switch to a different public school in a different province....
if he gave the required notice, it was not clear to him what would be required ...new visa - able to do so without leaving the country?...he has been getting a lot of mixed messages...someone said it is possible to get another visa and start at another school without leaving the country
anyone with a clear regulation? |

By regulation, he cant do it. In practice, if the new province wants him bad enough & the old province is agreeable, things could be worked out with immigration. Hence the mixed signals. But if I were him, I'd bank on having to go out & start over. |

schwa, thanks for your feedback
if he has to go out and start over, is there a waiting period, or is it just the time it takes to do the paperwork, provided he had the letter of release?
thanks |
