|
|
| I wont be heading to korea until early next year but i want to know how much would it be to check in a third bag (it's actually a box that weighs less than 50lbs and is within the size dimensions laid out by the airline). I checked on their website but it wasn't listed. Has anyone traveled with this airline and checked in a third item? if so, what was the cost to check the baggage? If you didn't go with Korean Air, how much was it for your airline? |

| the rates you posted are for overweight baggage. Im specifically asking about having an extra bag over the allowance. It states it will be charged an applicable excess baggage fee but no amount is posted. |

you should call about a month ahead of time and ask them - the rules are changing all the time.
I brought a 3rd bag w/me the first time I came in 2003 and paid $112 for it.
I came to regret bringing a lot of the stuff I did tho, too many shoes and books!!
try and pare it down if you can, it's just a lot to hassle with IMO |

| I just flew out of Incheon Last week with a bag that was over the 23kg weight limit. My bag was 29kgs. The lady told me my bag was too heavy and that the overweight charge was 30,000KRW. After I told her I'd have to go to the ATM to get money for the charge she said she'd waive the fee. |
