Has anyone used this guy to find housing??? I need to find my own housing when I move over. In an officetel how will you be able to turn on your own utilities or does the officetel do that for you? Same with an apt.

Any other realtors that anyone has worked with that are good, let em know....

Yeah, Bullwinkles is still there at least when I graduated which was 2 years ago. I remember that was the one bar you could not go to if you were under 21 b/c they would always nail you on the fake ID. Fat Tuesdays closed a couple years ago and Sloppy Joes has changed ownership like 10 times and is called something else. I forgot the names of all the others, oh yeah the Irish Pub is still there.

Tallahassee has changed alot in the last 5 years. Pensacola Street goes around the football stadium instead of between the football and baseball stadium and oh yeah FSU sucks at football, thats a BIG CHANGE but that will change this season (hopefully)!!!! Smile

I use to nanny for a family and I had to pick up there kids and one was a Freshman at Leon High!!

Are you in FL right now, I am down in the West Palm Beach area.

Wow, big changes...I guess I should've told you that I left Tally in 1985 and have been back once - in 1992! There were big changes back then too..haha

I'm in Korea again after spending 8 years in the states. Got married to a local, so we came back last year. Wife and I work for Korean companies now, but originally taught English 1996-99.

btw, if you go to the FAQ section, I think there's a whole bunch of those apartment websites and a whole lot of advice there...good luck - you evil seminole... Razz

One of my co-workers also used him to look for an apartment, the only fishy thing was that the guy said he could arrange for moving a sofa and TV for 650,000WON, which I thought was not really on the up-and-up, considering two Koreans and a flat bed truck usually costs 75,000 for the same thing (I've moved all of my stuff twice, using a different company each time, and that was the average cost).

I won't go too far out on a limb here, and I really do know nothing about the above mentioned situation; but very often Koreans mis-speak large numbers in English. Usually they are off by a factor of 10 because of Korean numbers using 10,000 as a base instead of 1000. Just a thought.
Even my college class, when asked how about how much cosmetic surgery costs, could not put "baek-man" won into English as one hundred thousand won without serious computations.

Edit-
darn it; I did it too. "baek-man" won would be one million won.

Yeah, that's so far above the normal price (10x), either the guy misspoke or he's got some balls.

for ap'ts in Itaewon & Haebanchong
try Eden Realty:
http://www.edenrealty.co.kr/
Arthur Choi - owner/mgr...HP: (82) 10-8743-0012 [email protected]

Dealt with Arthur a few times & rented thru him...highly recommend him: straightforward/honest, friendly, and speaks intermediate+ English (more than good enough)...website is in English & has ap't photos.

Office is across the road from exit 2 of Noksapyeong subway station (#629), about 3-4 shops from the Lexus dealership & in the direction of Namsan/Seoul Tower
