Yes, I guess by now I should know that endorsing his faith based way of life is a part of who George Bush is even if he offends a large majority of Americans who choose not to share in his fantasy worship. . |
The large majority of Americans is religious. |
You are correct. According to the survey from the article below 92% of Americans believe in a god and 82% believe in MIRACLES...
I guess that is a good thing though cause after eight years of Bush it is going to take a miracle to pull America out of the mess Bush created.

Of course that poll came from Fox News

Besides, what does it even mean to say a large portion of America is religious? Does that simply mean we believe in God? Because I know a ton of people who do not live by their own belief system. If you want to call America a religious nation, that's fine, but simply stating beliefs isn't really proving much.
On top of that, then you get into the division of religious sects. I know plenty of christians who think snake-charmers and people who speak in tongues aren't real christians...and would even go so far as to classify those things as fantasy worship. SO, wouldn't that lead one to think that perhaps even though people claim to be christians there are still going to be a large number of them who believe that GW's religious beliefs are nothing more than pure fantasy? |

Is it possible to catch a "terrorist" on the battlefield? I guess nowadays it is. |
