| So I stuck with the newspaper job. But I was just informed by my editor that they are flying me to Seoul in October to cover the training of the first batch of employees for the Kia plant here in Georgia. I can't wait to come back! |

From the numerous comments people have been leaving about you, we should all be in for a good laugh.
Anything you hope to accomplish on your return? Anything you wish to avoid ? |

Yeah, I want to get some good stories. Seriously, I want to make at least one trip to Haeundae Beach and drink soju all day like old times. I used to go out there by myself toward the rocks near that hotel and drink, just watching the ocean. Then I'd meet my fiancee when she got of work and splurge at the meat joints. That really was fun. I'd also like to visit Itaewon one more time.
Damn, for anyone who complains about Korea, it beats the hell out of working a low-paying small town job in the states. I pay at least $10 of gas here every day just to get to work and back. Now that I am getting a place to live, I have calculated that me and my fiancee will have $800 to live on a month, not including gas costs. Also, my alcoholic cousin came up to our house the other night with a pistol pointed at his chest proclaiming he was going to kill himself and even pointed it at my mom one time by 'accident.' I really do question why guns are legal for retards like that to run around with. Honestly, Korea is looking like a paradise right about now. |

I imagine a lot of places are looking like a paradise these days. The global economy is spiraling out of control, etc. (Forgive me for my economic ignorance, but that's just how I see it.)

Referring to your gun friendly retard, you're pretty much stuck with them until they manage some form of gun reform/laws restricting people from owning guns. Though I doubt that'll ever happen, we love our 2nd amendment right. (Again my ignorance is blissful, don't take that away from me.)
I take it you're coming over on an E-2 visa like most people. Have you worked out all the kinks with your new employer yet or is it more along the line of 'play it by ear' until you're settled?

From your comments about Haeundae Beach I take it you'll be living in or around Busan, is that right? Not that it matters everything is just a couple hours from everything else anyway. |

No, tourist. My newspaper is flying me over there to cover a story for them related to the Kia plant here in Georgia. Ha, I wish I was coming back for a longer time. I will only be there for a week or so. |

Yeah, they really gave bigfoot enthusiasts an even worse rep. |
