I can agree with mo on wanting O'Neill out of the SPL - he's an annoying, gibbering muppet and I can't stand the bloke.
He's turned Celtic into a team of bruisers and cloggers (Sutton, Hartson, Balde, Thompson, Lennon, Valgaeren et al) and it's almost got to the point that I'd prefer to see Rangers winning things than Celtic... even though I have a massive dislike for the way they are an institution that thrives on sectarianism and bigotry.
I lost count of the number of times I saw Sutton & Hartson bundle their way through the Aberdeen defence on sheer strength - I guess it's a reason why Andy Cooke (big powerful ex-Stoke City striker) has been such a success with Busan Icons in the K-league, and why Jamie Cureton (tiny waif-like lazy sod of a "striker") failed miserably. Stick a big strong guy up against Korean defenders and unless they're Ade Akinbiyi then they'd hit the net more often than not. |

How could you not support Busan?!?
I love the underdogs, but I wouldn't recommend following a K2 side, due to the language barrier and crap supporters clubs. They get zero TV coverage (both in terms of actual games or even match highlights), minimal press/internet coverage, and as far as I know, have crap supporters clubs.
I'm pretty sure all K-League sides rent coaches for all away matches.... something you won't get following a K2 side. For Busan, it was W10,000 for any away match, regardless of distance - and that included the ticket as well as the round-trip fare!
I'm currently writing a book about my experience with Busan I'cons during the past season... stay tuned! |

I'm already there, I'm ashamed to say. I never thought I would ever prefer seeing the dirty Huns winning the league over the marginally less rotten Tims. However, O'Neill has forced me - I just can't stand the man or his tactics.
His team get beat, yet they're marvellous and he couldn't ask for more. His team win the league through dodgy penaltiues and biased refereeing, yet he cries his eyes out when Balde is sent off (fairly) against Porto. I really really despise him, and the sooner he takes the 'cloggers' away the better. |

Say what you will about MON, personally, it just sounds like sour grapes.
You (Aberdeen that is) have been propping up the table for the best of how many seasons?
You last won something (first half against Liverpool doesn'y count), when?
MON get results, end of story, Paterson would do the same if he was half the manager!
Look at Ferguson, he was despised everywhere in Scotland, but arguably was (is)one of the most successful Scottish managers of all-time. Did he (and does he still not) apply the famous 'siege mentality' in his teams? MON is doing the same thing.
Anyway, Merry Christmas (from the top of the league)...
P GD PTS
1 Celtic 17 46 49
2 Rangers 17 26 41
3 Hearts 17 4 29
4 Dunfermline 17 1 29
5 Livingston 17 -1 21
6 Motherwell 17 -4 20
7 Kilmarnock 17 -13 20
8 Hibernian 17 -8 19
9 Dundee 17 -3 18
10 Dundee Utd 17 -14 17
11 Aberdeen 17 -13 15

That's the thing... Paterson isn't even a quarter of a manager
Bring back Ebbe!
ed1980 - shame on you for plumping for Anyang!
Na.. fair enough actually.
Some atmosphere from an Anyang v Suwon game at the Anyang stadium...
Of course, I like the Suwon fans better...

Ha ha, typical deluded Tim response.
We're sh#te and we know we are. Trouble is, you're overrated, but you don't realise it.
At no point did I question MON's abilities as a manager, and my hatred of him is not because he wins loads of stuff for you (as previously mentioned, 99% of Dons prefer you lot too the even less palatable Huns). However, MON consistently speaks utter crap - more so than even Fergie now (or then). In fact, I'd go as far as to say I've never disliked a manager as much as I dislike MON. In addition, his team is a bunch of bruising cloggers.
Oh and as for Paterson, I'm not disagreeing. If you'd bothered to actually comprehend what was written, you might have made a decent response. Unfortunately, the Parkhead paranoia set in. |

Mo,
You're embarrassing yourself.
I have no problem understanding what was written, but then again it's good to see that you've completely lost the plot. 5 or 6 years (or is it more???) without a trophy (let alone a mid-table placing) has got to your head
I couldn't give a tosss what you sheep-shagggers thought (if you could muster one collectively that is), it just makes me laugh that you're SO jealous. It's all about winning, but then again it's been so long you wouldn't know what that feels like, eh?
Enjoy getting into Europe next year... |

Dear dear. I have no problem with you winning, don't you understand that?? I hate seeing the Hunnery collect trophies. The sole issue here is MON.
As for jealousy, of course we're jealous, I wouldn't deny that.
The one thing we have though is the fact that our club is not based on disgusting sectarian principles.
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how you lot do next year without the messiah, and possibly without the welsh pie-muncher.
Oh, and if it's all about wining, why did your club feel the need to release a video glorifying your defeat in the UEFA Cup final? |

2000-01 - 7th
2001-02 - 4th
2002-03 - 8th
An average position of 6.3333333333333 during the last 3 years - that's not a "mid-table placing"? |
