Do f class visa holders actually take these jobs? This posting works out to 22,500 an hour (no airfare, no severance, that is it).
I have to wonder if asking for F class visas and offering ridiculous salaries is not a way of saying the company will take anyone in Korea even those here illegally.
Looking for teachers with F-visa series for 1-3 mos. to start immediately. Location: Bundang (suburb of Seoul) Theme: Internationalization Schedule: 830-530 M-F Contact hours: 30 hrs/wk Salary : 2.7 - 3.0 mil.won/mos Class size: small groups 12-15 Age group: 6th grade students in simulation workshops Meals: 3/day M-F Housing possible (free furnished pair-share dorm housing on campus) call Tess J. Kim 031-725-5611 [email protected]

It is the Seongnam English Town and they are desperate enough to take anyone stupid enough to sign on.
(they just had a major staff walkout - AGAIN).
Sign on at your own risk.

That's the best thing about having an F class VISA -- if the job sucks you can walk and the only thing anyone can do is watch you leave. I wouldn't take the job listed, but I'm sure someone will. |

you can just walk out anytime? or still have to adhere to the contract and give your months notice? |

If they are anal and don't adhere to the contract, why not? |

It depends. If you need the reference, then you have to complete the contract and/or give notice. If you don't need the reference there is nothing stopping a person on a F VISA from walking. I have never walked out on a contract, but if I had a job that was intolerable, and had a new job waiting, then there is a possiblity that I would walk out. Hasn't happened yet, and don't plan on it, but it is possible. |
