Just finished a two year stint while I was in Korea and my fiance and I happened to adopt two cats while our stay there.

I thought I would post this message for anyone traveling with animals and recommend traveling with Korean Air. We flew from Incheon to Chicago.

Although Korean Air is more expensive than the other airlines, they did a perfect job transporting our animals across the Pacific. Our animals were in the heated and pressurized cargo hold, and the flight crew notified us three times during the flight of the current temperature (ranging between 18C and 27C) in the cargo hold. Also, flying with an animal in the cargo hold will set you back roughly $270.00 (US).

Not looking for a reply, but this message might assist someone else traveling with pets in the future.

Thanks.
