So after I recieve a letter of release from my employer, what do I do with it? Bring it down to immi and they cancel the visa sponsorship from my hagwon? I am going to transfer my visa, but need to know the process for this stuff. Once I have my LOR do I need my director to go to immi aswell? |

Your new boss should go with you to immigration to get the visa transferred. Or someone who represents him. He will have to have some paperwork in order to get the visa transferred. |

When you have a letter of release do you need to get a new visa to work at a new place? Do you need to re-submit all your documents (transcripts, criminal record check, etc) and do a visa run or is it possible to transfer an existing E2 visa to a new employer by going to the immigration office? |

If you have completed 3/4 of your contract, you can switch your visa without doing a visa run. If you already submitted the CRC post Dec 15, then you shouldn't have to submit it again. Most likely though, you will have submit degree and transcripts again. |
