Now this cracks me up. not only because it mirrors the geriatric stupidity of beetle Mr McCartney, but because it is also mirrors the pitiful heartbroken whine of his melancholic love songs that were the defining sound of the 80's. Incidentally, our honest loverboy Phil ditched his former wife by fax in order to get with this gold digger.

August 18, 2008

Phil Collins has settled his divorce with a record payout of $46.76 million in cash to his ex-wife of six years, UK newspaper the Daily Mail reports.

Orianne Cevey will walk away with $2 million more than what Heather Mills was awarded in her split from Paul McCartney.

Doesn't a pre-nup destroy the whole trust and romance of a marriage engagement?

Doesn't a marriage engagement (which in this case is just a one-sided legal contract allowing some obscenely overpriced *beep* to get her legal hooks into Phil) destroy the whole trust and romance of a relationship?

That would have been, merely, his tax bill last year. He is classed as resident of Switzerland, and his tax is definately much reduced by being resident (on paper at least) there. I imagine 'nothing about that is a concern to me' would be his motto at this time.
