Glitter's lawyer, Le Thanh Kinh, said that his client intended to return to Britain, although in an interview with a Vietnamese newspaper, shortly before his release, he said that he would likely move to either Hong Kong or Singapore[33].
Glitter was released from Thu Duc prison in southern Binh Thuan province on 19 August 2008. He was escorted under police guard to Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and put on board a flight to London via Bangkok. At Bangkok he claimed that he was having a heart attack, and refused to board the flight to London despite the efforts of British police accompanying him. Glitter demanded to be allowed to stay in Thailand or another Asian country. He has been refused entry to Thailand, but remains at Bangkok airport.[11][34]

| Why don't they just chloroform the guy, throw him in with the baggage and then, flying as high as possible, equalize pressure and temperature with those conditions outside the aircraft. Presto! No more pedo! |

| Maybe the UK could exchange Thaksin, for Glitter, although it wouldn't be an equal swap. |

Sounds like he has no assets left in England to go back to. What a shame. However, I seriously doubt there'll be a Glitter comeback tour to refill his coffers.
And the worst of it? From henceforth, I'll always associate that rock anthem at basketball games with a pedophile. I had no idea that fucker originated the song.

Update:
"On the evening of 20 August, he took a flight to Hong Kong, where he requested medical treatment saying he was suffering a heart attack. However the Hong Kong authorities also refused to admit him, and he returned to Thailand the next day.[40]
At least 19 countries, including Cuba, Cambodia and the Philippines, announced that they would refuse to admit Glitter, and on 21 August, the Thai authorities stated that he had agreed to return to the UK."

Actually the reason he is avoiding going to his home country is because he will have to face a court. The problem for him with that is that he will be placed on a sex registry which is likely to restrict his ability to travel abroad for some time in the future. No candy for Mr. Glitter.
And don't rule out a come back tour. Michael Jackson didn't pay for his "Neverland Ranch" with peanuts and singer R. Kelly's career hasn't suffered much as the result of his preference for little girls.
The royalties Glitter gets paid each time we all sing along to "The Hey Song" at any sporting event is probably enough to support his life style until he dies or his next imprisonment. |

You must be kidding.
Glitter....reportedly earns more than 50,000 a year from overseas royalties on hits such as I'm The Leader Of The Gang (I Am).
It is also suggested he earns rental income on a 500,000 apartment, currentlyoccupied by tenants in London. One report today claimed Glitter was looking at buying a secluded cottage in the West Country on his return to Britain.

Maybe cut him up a bit first before dropping him dead centre of an Army Ant colony. |

| Glitter is scum. But I have to admit that "Leader of the Gang" is a catchy tune. Hopefully, the guy stays secluded and isolated. |

I read in Wednesday's Daily Mail that he is worth around 5 million pounds. Apparently he sold the rights to his records before his stock plummeted. |

Well, not ALL of us sing it at the sporting events. I tend to avoid the phony herd-animal bonding I'm exepted to do at 'my' team's games.
I guess he would be making serious bank on his anthem. God knows I've heard that tune enough at ballgames. And now....now when I hear it, I'll associate it with pedophilia. |
