Are you trying to say that the witnesses to the space aliens' presence are mistaken? Or maybe they are attention hounds? If so, then how do you so easily believe your witnesses are telling the truth?

If you believe in one level of secret conspirators, what makes you think there is only one level? Couldn't it be true that you just haven't educated yourself enough to discover the layer beyond that one, and the layer above that, and so on?

"Reality testing" is the term used by psychiatrists to describe the process by which one determines whether the ideas in one's head are only that, or if they have any relation to external reality. Impaired reality testing
is symptomatic of psychosis.

Illusions, hallucinations, and misperceptions can also occur in non-psychotics, hence differing stories among witnesses to the same event. This is why such testimony also needs corroboration.

Anyone unable to distinguish fact from fantasy ought to be evaluated by a competent professional.

When it comes to a level head and intelligence, you can't out do Bacasper.

Stop trying.

Hey dudes. Laughing

Anyone watch the discovery program about the guys driving across America on vegetable oil? I forget the name off hand, but the last episode was interesting.

They visited a guy who runs his whole farm on renewable energy.

A solar powered tractor....and they said it couldn't be done!

He also has one of the original electric vehicles which he still uses.

He told an interesting story about how there was a negative ad campaign against the EV when it came out. All a bunch of bogus claims about how dangerous and expensive it was. These bogus claims were all on the front pages of newspapers. Later, scientists involved in the development of the EV would refute the bogus claims but the refutations would all be somewhere in small print in the back of the papers.

Interesting story, I have no way of knowing if it's altogether true or not,

but we all know conspiracies never happen...right?

Is your absence from the board due to your competent professional finally advising you to avoid airing your fantasies in public? That's harsh, I know, but even you have to admit that this:

is an embarrassing endorsement. Something like a cookbook from Jeffrey Dahmer.

AP has reported recently , and it is all over the news , that Ford lied in the Warren Report in order to alter the trajectory of the shots that killed Kennedy.

The genie is out of the bottle , JMO.

Are you still sticking to your ridiculous stance on the issue?

I don't know about widespread activity within the government. But I do know Oswald didn't kill Kennedy and the government framed Oswald.

And now everyone knows.

So tell me JMO; has the Associated Press lost their mind and are they wackos too?

Or is that the mainstream media has finally reported the truth; and what we have known all along?

I consider this recent Associated Press report a vindication of sorts to me and anyone who has taken crap over believing that the Warren Report and Ford got it all wrong.

ssssh..they'll get you! You've said too much already..

I'm going to hide out here and not be amused(in the slightest) about the way you switched so effortlessly from the 'MSM' being part of the conspiracy to not.

It was courageous men like you that let the 'MSM' free from 'their' iron grip.

You sir are a beacon of light in the darkness, and should indeed feel vindicated. Huzzah to Regicide!

That is what is new, JMO. The Associated Press ( but not CNN) has confirmed the conspiracy by way of printing Ford's lies.

Things change JMO. Previously, there was no " MSM" ( are you too lazy to write the mainstream media?) confirmation of Fords lies.

Could you possibly act and write like a living breathing human being for a change?

Of course, of course. When they agree with you(or you read it that way) they are working outside the conspiracy, when they don't, they are inside, working for 'them'. I see it all so clearly now..

I read the AP and I successfully 'read between the lines' to find the conspiracy to kill Kennedy. I know they didn't say Ford did anything else but report to the FBI and 'allegedly' change the position of a wound...but I can 'read between the lines'.

Quote:
Ford said then he only made the description more precise. Skeptics said Ford's wording falsely made the wound seem higher on the body to make the panel's conclusion that one bullet hit both Kennedy and Texas Gov. John Connally more plausible.

I suppose the next step is to match the autopsy report on the position of the wounds to the Warren report?

Good grief. The man made a material change in an official government document

The presidents blood stained shirt shows a bullet hole in the back. You can confirm this at the National Archives.

The effect of Ford's editing was to suggest that a bullet struck Kennedy in the neck.

Without that alteration, it would have been impossible to convince anyone that the single bullet theory could have been possible.

And in fact, several members on the panel were not even convinced that the shots came from the 6th floor window and this made Fords alteration even more imperative.

Excuse me, but this thread is supposed to be about conspiracy theories in general. You've got your own official playground up in the stickies. Let's keep the JFK crap up there where it belongs.

I believe I made my point that this "conspiracy theory" has now become the truth, as evidenced by reporting by the mainstream media. If what we have believed all along is not true, then the members of the mainstream media are also nutjobs and whackos, which has been your description of us.

And in order to do that , I must name the particular former conspiracy theory and the evidence that has brought it into the mainstream.

I would suggest moving onto the next conspiracy theory and using your efforts to silence discsussion there.

The genie is out of the bottle in this one and it is not going back.

Since the ol' Boy has stated his belief that "conspiracy theories" are not true by definition, it seems it would be impossible to have a rational discussion with him on that point.

That is exactly why that definition is unworkable. It cuts off all possibility of dialog on the issue.

Good luck trying him, though.
