|
|
I am currently living in Korea and want to change jobs at the end of my contract. What I want to know is do I need my criminal record check to get my new visa or do I have 90 days after starting my new job to hand it in? |

A new job will require a new visa.
A new visa requires a criminal check...especially if you were hired before the new regulations and have never submitted the document.
Could you theoretically work illegally in the meantime....sure you could.
If any immigration officials came to your school during that period however, do you think it's in your best interest to work without a visa...and the ramifications that follow?? |

what if the person was hired after the new regulations took place and is looking for another job? Would it still be necessary to get another criminal check or would the first one be sufficient? |

As long as immigration has one on file, under the current rules, once is sufficient.
Everything else will have to be repeated for a new visa. |
