Most public schools are supported mainly by the their local community. The effect is that schools in rich areas with lots of industries and rich homes have the money to support a higher level of education--more teachers, smaller classes, new books, better all-around facilities. Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.
In effect the US public school system reinforcing the existing social hierarchy by providing middle and upper class kids with better education that then allows them to rise or maintain that status. Poor kids' only hope are magnet schools that draw from a larger municipal area, and even then its only kids that are essentially smart enough to excel in a poor learning environment.
I have a friend who teaches in a borderline bad school in Dallas, it's a junior high, and she busts kids for drugs and sex and spends most of her class time just maintaining order, not teaching. This is a mixed race school as it services a lower economic bracket, but not completely inner city type area, and she says other schools in the district are worse. Can't remember off the top of my head what it's called. Either way, that's messed up. I've not taught in a Korea public, but it sounded like she needed someone just to do discipline like that Korean public co-teacher theoretically does. And the school can barely keep all the teachers it has, so that's not going to happen.
This kind of stuff is what drives me so crazy when people say there isn't a class system in the US, or that welfare is always bad, or that communism or socialism are inherently bad. C'mon, it's all what we do with it. |

As do you. So a young boy who lives in in the hills of pakistan, who has no chance of hearing your jesus pusher, will he go to hell for being a faithful and peaceful muslim? |

Like I have said numerous of times. God is able to reveal Himself in many ways; creation, dreams, visions and other ways.
No one will go to hell without a chance without hearing the gospel. Also, children won't go to hell...they will all go to Heaven. Like I have said before.
Do you realize that Satan is called the father of lies? |

7 is the biblical number, so probably 14. Isn't that when Catholics get confirmed? |

Haha. Your question reminds me of Heaven as a bar. Hey, you got some id?
I guess there comes a time when every young child begins to make decisions to what is and isn't truth. Have you ever watched kiterunner? I would have to think that the boy who was the servant would enter into heaven. He understood the principles of God's kingdom. While the boy who raped him would definitely go to hell.
To me...this is the guideline.
Hell was created for Satan and his angels. Unfortunately, people who love wickedness will also go to hell. They will go there because that's what they choose not because of what God chooses.

Anyone who won't accept Christ as their savior will go to hell. Many top scientists don't believe in Jesus and so seal their fate by choosing not to believe.
If you were a Christian, as you say you are, you would agree with what I say. Rather than being chicken and going with a popular answer why don't you go with truth? |
