It's the religion of the ego. Just pay a lot of money and you'll find out you're an ancient wise soul with super powers. Some people blow 200K on an Italian sports car. Some blow it finding out they're going to be reincarnated as a space alien captain of a Urkorian stellar cruise liner. |

They tried to sell me their Dianetics book when I was a 12 yr old kid. Did their IQ test then got a sales speal. 'How much is it?' I asked. 'Ten dollars.' My thought, 'Wtf, I'm going to the movies and that only costs $1:75. Give the book away like the Hari Krishnas do if you want people to read it and believe shlt.'
So no, Scientogology never got their hands on me.
Maybe they didn't persue it 'cause they could see my IQ was two standard deviations up from the mean.
Likewise, I suspect Kidman is smarter than Cruise.
Crikey, $10.  Back then you got a two liter bag of sweets for a dollar. Ten then is about 50 bucks in today's money. For a dumb book. And asking a kid to pay it???? What's with these mofos? |
