Much as I love my school, it looks like I have a job lined up this fall (hopefully) that will benefit my career far more. |
While I don't have any real advice for you. I have to ask you why you are ending a contract at a good school for a job that may or may not get? |

Most contracts have a provision stating how they will take care of the airfare in a case like yours. In the past, if you didn't stay for at least 6 months, you owe them for the airfare to get you to Korea. As you extended your contract for another year and are only staying 3 months, you will be responsible for half of the round trip airfare.
Don't worry about pension, it will stay intact in full. Make sure to do the math and figure out how much you should be getting when you leave, then call the pension office to make sure everything is good to go.
I don't know if you are at a public school, hogwan or uni, so I cannot comment on deposit return. Also, the payment of the last month of bills will be dependent upon you staying in or leaving Korea. |
