Evolution has a lot to answer for!
If you are an athiest or an evolutionist can you please link answers to these questions and before we accept evolution as fact! I need EVERY question answered! one can not go unanswered!( if you cant answer every question then I need to know how you base your belief in athiesm. is it just faith related?
I need scientific evidence , proven data, tested and approved and endorsed by the scientific community!..
I mean if people in the world are athiest / evolutionists and they say theists are crazy for believing in something without fact or evidence..
then that means evolutions have scientific evidence to back their facts..
so please lets see it...
1. Where did the space for the universe come from?
2. Where did matter come from?
3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?
4. How did matter get so perfectly organized?
5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?
6. When, where, why, and how did life come from non-living matter?
7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?
8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?
9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?)
10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)
11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?
12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true?
13. When, where, why, and how did:
o Single-celled plants become multi-celled? (Where are the two and three-celled intermediates?)
o Single-celled animals evolve?
o Fish change to amphibians?
o Amphibians change to reptiles?
o Reptiles change to birds? (The lungs, bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, etc., are all very different!)
o How did the intermediate forms live?
14. When, where, why, how, and from what did:
o Whales evolve?
o Sea horses evolve?
o Bats evolve?
o Eyes evolve?
o Ears evolve?
o Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve?
15. Which evolved first (how, and how long; did it work without the others)?
o The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the bodys resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)?
o The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce?
o The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs?
o DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts?
o The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose?
o The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants?
o The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones?
o The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system?
o The immune system or the need for it?
16. There are many thousands of examples of symbiosis that defy an evolutionary explanation. Why must we teach students that evolution is the only explanation for these relationships?
17. How would evolution explain mimicry? Did the plants and animals develop mimicry by chance, by their intelligent choice, or by design?
18. When, where, why, and how did man evolve feelings? Love, mercy, guilt, etc. would never evolve in the theory of evolution.
19. How did photosynthesis evolve?
20. How did thought evolve?
21. How did flowering plants evolve, and from that?
22. What would you have said fifty years ago if I told you I had a living coelacanth in my aquarium?
23. Is there one clear prediction of macroevolution that has proved true?
24. What is so scientific about the idea of hydrogen becoming human?
25. Do you honestly believe that everything came from nothing?
After you have answered the preceding questions, please look carefully at your answers and thoughtfully consider the following questions.
1. Are you sure your answers are reasonable, right, and scientifically provable, or do you just believe that it may have happened the way you have answered? (Do these answers reflect your religion or your science?)
2. Do your answers show more or less faith than the person who says, "God must have designed it"?
3. Is it possible that an unseen Creator designed this universe? If God is excluded at the beginning of the discussion by your definition of science, how could it be shown that He did create the universe if He did?
4. Do people accept evolution because of the following factors?
o It is all they have been taught.
o They like the freedom from God (no moral absolutes, etc.).
o They are bound to support the theory for fear of losing their job or status or grade point average.
o They are too proud to admit they are wrong.
o Evolution is the only philosophy that can be used to justify their political agenda.
5. Should we continue to use outdated, disproved, questionable, or inconclusive evidences to support the theory of evolution because we dont have a suitable substitute (Piltdown man, recapitulation, archaeopteryx, Lucy, Java man, Neanderthal man, horse evolution, vestigial organs, etc.)?
"Either there is a God or there is not. Both possibilities are frightening." |

Evolution isn't a belief.....you can see it happening, look at antibiotics in hospitals creating so called super bugs, look at the moths that changed from brown to white and then back again after environmental conditions changed......certainly both colours of the moths were part of the population but it shows how a mutation can become prevalent when given the chance......
Your poorly put together list is quite amusing really. |

Evolutionist? The actual term is either One who understands Science and the Scientific Method. |

From the o/p in the evolution thread:
Quote: |
* Evolution is not religion. If you believe so, kindly provide a definition of religion and a definition of science and demonstrate how they're synonymous. That two things might share a lot in common does not make them equal. A dog and cat are both furry, eat meat, suckle litters, have whiskers, have paws with sharp nails, have tails. That doesn't make a dog and cat the same. It is the differences, sometimes even subtle differences, that are important. How many Koreans do you know that think Canadian and American culture are the same? How many of your friends back at home think all Asian cultures are the same? |

I think his understanding of the term "pagan religion" is pretty skewed as well. |

I turn of the TV and see the animals just doing what they need to do - eating, sleeping , mating, seeking shelter and yes at times acting like "animals" but I turn the channel and see people acting like the biggest bunch of dorks and idiots. The frightening thing is in "real life" it is basically the same thing.

The way I see it is you have faith that everything came about from the big bang or that some dude is creating it all. Either one requires (at the moment) a leap of faith.
The former comes with none of the baggage "god" or "religion" comes with, so I chose the former.
What is up with questioning what was there before the big bang? Don't you also have to ask how your "god" came into existence as well? Or was he just always there? |

Eternal matter or an eternal God....or everything just came from nothing (but: ex nihilo nihil fit).
I' ll put my faith in an eternal personal God rather than worship at the alter of impersonal matter or nothingness. |

Then why look for answers amongst ESL teachers? I would say to ask those "questions" if that's what they are, to a legitimate scientific entity, such as a university-level professor, but my guess is you're too scared.
I need scientific evidence why religions are to be believed, when all you have are stories from millenia ago to base your belief on.
I remember talking to a professor a while ago about those so-called "footprints" of humans and dinosaurs together in Texas, and offered as proof as to creationism. He nearly did a spit-take with his coffee and found them to be one of the most entertaining stories he's heard in a while. And then he gave evidence of a bunch of Bible-thumpers faking the entire thing......... |

Just like the famous "Nebraska Man" which turned out to be a tooth from an extinct pig. Pathetic.
Proof?
The New Testament is the most historically accurate writing from the ancient world. Dismiss the New Testament then all other writings from antiquity are to be swept away. I know of no credible historian that would be willing to agree to that.
Within the New Testament there is ample evidence that God is the Creator. |

Spoken like a true Bible thumper.
I'm still waiting for outside evidence for the Bible's story of the Red Sea parting. Last time I checked, no large body of water ever simultaneously split and retracted, creating a long road for a group of people to travel across PRECISELY at the moment they needed to. Talk about Deus Ex Machina...
Bible-thumpers are allowed to believe whatever they want. But the fact they challenge others to disprove them, when common sense alone is enough, is really pretty sad. |

What do you need an example of?
In terms of outside witnesses that is a weak argument. Outside of the most historically accurate writing from the ancient world you don't have a case. |

I'm referring to this,
Quote: |

Do you mean that according to the New Testament, God is the creator..or..there is ample evidence within it, showing that God is the creator? If it is the latter you need to pony up with the evidence.
I've heard quite a bit of the gospels seeing as I had to go to mass every day of about 4 summers. I don't remember any actual evidence.
BTW I think your argument contains a straw man, in that people are not claiming that other very old books are accurate. |
