When I went to the Woori Bank ATM (bank machine) today I noticed there was a new icon to choose on the right side of the screen. It was labelled something like "International Money Transfer". I was in a rush so I didn't have a chance to click it and see what happens. Has anybody used a Woori ATM to wire money home? Is it really possible? Seems too good to be true.

Get bent arsehole. I have a life and I don't live on this board unlike losers like yourself. Next time leave out the "rolls eyes" face. That was uncalled for. I said Woori Bank, not KB by the way.

First of all, I hardly live on this board. I happened to have the afternoon off today, and ended up spending a little bit of that time posting today. If that makes me, a holder of a master's degree, a loser, then everyone on this website is a loser.

Secondly, get a grip. There is no need to overreact. My only intent was to show you that this general topic has already been discussed.

You have to go through the process of signing up and submitting your pay stubs before you can use the international money transfer at Woori Bank. Just go into the bank and tell them you want to sign up. bring the usual items: ARC, passport, bankbook (atm card), paysheets. Additionally, you will have to provide your receiving bank details: account number, adress & phone number, and routing number. After all this, you'll be set.

I've transferred money home a few times at my local Woori branch by going to the teller. They already have my home bank's details in their system. I'm going to go back tomorrow and see what happens at the ATM. I've been fortunate not to have had problems sending money with Woori Bank. I'll post what happens!

Fortunately, my own self-worth does not depend on what emoticons an internet poster uses.

Yeah, well put your Master's brain to work next time before you post an unwarranted obnoxious reply. Rolling Eyes

Well, lets not make a mountain out of a molehill, shall we. I never take anything online too seriously, and I am simply surprised that you are. Lets just call this a simply misunderstanding.

Fine. You have a point. Let's move onward.

Anyway, I'll post my experiences with Woori in the coming days. Surprised
