I'm not sure about anything else, but make sure you get typhoid shots. My friend drunkenly drank tap water and caught it. Pretty serious shit so be careful.

My Doctor, who works at the International Clinic in Itaewon, advised me to make sure I had my Hep A and B, and he wants me to take Malaria pills.

My roomate, on the other hand, is advising me not to take them, as they can make you awfully sick in fact ruining your trip.

Any thoughts on that?

If you're just going to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, don't bother with the malaria pills. If you're going out in the middle of nowhere for most of the time, it'd be worth considering. But the best thing you can do is mosquito avoidance anyway.

Hep A and B are worth getting in general, I think.
