I used the word in an appropriate manner - in reference to those who remark about Sharpton as "an ambulance chaser" as it's used in a polarizing, racial configuration seeking to detract from his good work.
I think it's telling how fast someone like you wants to jump on ME for defending Al Sharpton's and Jesse's work as well as the men themselves. |
1. As Kuros noted, you really haven't defended them. You have instead made vague references.
2. Ambulance chaser is RACIAL configuration? Are you kidding me? Guess you missed all those references to John Edwards, a WHITE man, for being an ambulance chaser due to his law background. Dude, honestly, if you think ambulance chaser has racial connotations, you really see race in way too many things.

| You aren't attacking me for any reason other than that - it really just bugs some of you who want to claim to be intellectuals when the real deal walks in and blows it for you, doesn't it? |
I made that claim huh? Please quote me where I did so. Thanks in advance.

| sorry, but you aren't that smart if you can't even acknowledge brilliance in people of all races, ethnicities, and gender, doesn't work that way, uh uh. |
Umm since I nor the others are fans of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, we don't acknowledge brilliance in people of all races and genders?? Wow. Great logic you're showing there. And is that not accusing us of being racist? Is that what you're trying to say?

Ha, good luck Gopher. As he said above, he won't divulge his background. |

| Ambulance chaser is RACIAL configuration? |
bb (and Kuros),
It takes a wise and strong man to admit when he's been bested. I think the three of us have to humble ourselves and eat crow. This mooseperson is our superior. It was evident even before the 'intelligence' comment, but that put the lid on it. That has to be true because no one would say it if it weren't. But it was clear early on in the exchange. Anyone but someone filled with pride and arrogance would know that 'ambulance chaser' is a racist term. If you remember your 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' then you remember when Simon Legree called poor Liza an ambulance chaser when he was chasing her across the ice.
If this mooseperson says being a good orator cancels out low ethics, then it's true. Con men believe that. Why shouldn't we? Maybe Al Sharpton will be Attorney General or get a seat on the Supreme Court.
mooseheadperson writes and argues a lot like red dog used to...and we all know that she always won in the end.
I say, Surrender while we still can. |

YOU'RE a pinko?
Edited for color (no pink here at Dave's). |
Well, I'd probably fit in best on the right of the NDP, but yeah, I guess you could call me a pinko. I don't think I could ever vote Liberal or Conservative, if only because of the foreign-policy of those parties. |
