LOL Laughing I wanted to thank the influx of new people who DONT live in
Korea for all the advice and knowledge they are departing about Korea!

Without them we would be lost! They know everything and are a fountain of knowledge! Believe me they have read a page or two on Korea and are the experts! After all these years in Korea I thank them for opening my eyes on immigrations, laws, contracts, E2, F2, F5 E1, E7 visas and of course their insight into the workings of schools and the best methods for teaching students in Korea!

As, I sit in my office and bow in awe of their awesome intellectual superiority! Shocked

And I definitely look forward to their posts once (or if) they actually live here a few months. Wink

Thanks again Very Happy

Actually you should be thankful. I have probably met more newbies who know more about Immigration/visa law and procedure then school owners, head teachers and half of recruiters.

Funny post OP, and true.

See Ontheotherside's first week of posts, and then his recent ones, should be a sticky on this board!

(Ontheotherside, hope you don't mind me using you as an example, you actually remind me of myself my first year in Korea. A shining light of educational knowledge until the shrill hysteria of Koreachildhood came forth to bite our little fountainhead in the butt

Was there a particularly egregious example that sparked the OP? Please share.

I don't understand why people who have been here for years somehow think they're superior to those who have only just arrived. We're all here to work, travel, and experience new things. So what if you've been here years? You should be more willing to help newbies out than bash them. Seriously. And yea, I probably do know way more about all the paper processes than the OP. Why? Because I researched my heinie off before I came here. So instead of bashing, use the board for what it's intended. Help and sharing.

Bag o douche
