I have an E-2 visa and I want to quit my job. If I quit, do I have to leave Korea? If so, can I go to Japan and come back and stay for 90 days? |

a) If I quit, do I have to leave Korea?
b) If so, can I go to Japan and come back and stay for 90 days? |
Quick answers:
a) yes - no job = no sponsor = no legal status to stay.
b) yes, you can leave (hand in your ARC on the way out to cancel any re-entry privilages and void your current visa) and return on a tourist stamp for (depending on your nationality) 30 (US), 180 (Canada), 90 (the rest of E2 qualified nationals) days.
