i love korea but i hate my job! can anyone tell me how long it would take on average between quitting one job (and sorting out all that release letter malarkey) and crashing on people's floors to getting a new job?
thanks! |

hmmm ... that depends a lot on your hogwan. you should tell them you want to quit and need a release letter (make up some excuse that allows them to save face). be polite and cordial. offering to reimburse them for airfare, etc. would expedite the process. if you can't afford that, your only recourse is to do a runner and come back on a tourist visa, work illegally until your current contract runs its course and then sign on with a new school.
it might take a few weeks to get things sorted, but you can work illegally in the meantime. find a cheap yogwan or goshiwan. |
