Young woman is interviewed on TV and suggests, I gather, that she thinks Korean males should serve 3 years, not 2 years, in the military.
The third photo indicates her motivation for wanting another year of peace away from the oppas in her life. |

Wouldn't a third year of Korean military training make a dude even worse? |

Compulsory military service is a disgusting infringement on freedom and personal liberty, especially when a) it's only for men (why not women? I can answer that myself), and b) it's done during the years a young man is setting the course for his life. |

Compulsory military service is the only way that Korea can become an independent state. It is a country that is still technically at war, so it might be a good idea to have a few men at arms. Anyone who snivels about rights, should try and get a dose of reality...The other option is having your nation taken over while your young adult males buy shirts with shoe graphics, carry their girlfriend's purses or make semi-homosexual hand placements on other men's upper thighs during a 4-way game of Euro07 on the PS2. |

Battalions of young and old Korean females have been in covert operations inside of Korea for many years.
Training includes dropping cases of perfume, fashionable clothes and shoes, bargain giftsets and plastic bowls of fruit or veg, sometimes 10s of miles away.
The 'Ajummas in training' are then giving the map coordinates and have to reach their objective in any way possible, within a certain time. These exercises are set in both urban and rural areas.
If you encounter these stressed and harried ladies, identifiable by their goal-oriented behaviour and tight timetables, stay out of their way. These are the crack troops of The Republic. |

This sort of thing (images of unappreciative selfish princesses) was used as efficient fuel in the Great DwenJangNyuh (된장녀) Battles with which the Korean web space was plagued a while back. |

If the freedoms the young men you mock were truly in jeopardy, I'm confident that a lot of them would fight to defend them. There would be less soldiers than under conscription, but from my understanding, it's widely recognized among military experts that a volunteer army performs better that a conscripted one.
If, for some reason, there were a legitimate reason for forcing young men to serve in the armed forces, there would still be no logical reason for excluding young women. |

I think Korea has desensitized me. I looked at the pics, glanced at the hair pulling pic, and then thought, "Wow, that woman has some really ugly '80s boots." |

Does that make it okay that she was being dragged by her hair? If you don't like how selfish she is, dump her, don't treat her like an animal. |

My first guess was that she tripped over and the guy's actually holding her especially since he seems nice enough to be carrying her bag but it just appears as if he's dragging her by her hair from that angle. Look at the position of his hand. But then if she had simply tripped over or something momentarily and the event was very brief, nobody would've filmed that scene. Or was someone filming the area and it just got caught? She was drunk and she couldn't walk properly? I don't know. The first two pics were obviously from some TV program but the last pic seems sort of random and a skilled netizen might have found a suitable photo from somewhere to make the strip. In the last pic, the girl is wearing a jacket which is very similar-looking to that in the first two pics but I wonder if she's the same person. If she's the same person, how on earth could somebody capture that exact moment of that person? A dedicated paparazzi to non-celebs? A stalker? |

Looks like he's pulling on her sweater, at the shoulder... not her hair. |

She's bent over laughing, after saying he should do another year in the army. |
