The Consulate of Canada, Pusan . c/o Dongsung Chemical Co. Ltd., 472 Shin Pyung-dong, Saha-gu. Busan, Korea. 604-721
see here:

The map is almost useless.
You come out of what I would call the "back" entrance of the subway station. There is a large parking lot there where a lot of buses are parked. Come out to the road and cross it, then turn right. Walk along the road until the first MAJOR intersection, then turn left and walk for about 30 metres. The entrance to the chemical company has a guard box, where a guard will sign you in and take you to the consular office.
I got lost and called the consulate for directions en route.
Good luck! Hope this helps. |

| I believe that the "LG" gas station on the map is now a GS, which can be a problem for many(myself included). I was driving all over the place with no success. Found the smoke-stack with "Dong-sung" written on it in Korean, and still kept driving all over the place. All of the landmarks they placed on the map are of places that might have ten of the same in any 5-kilometre radius. From what I recall, the name "Dong-sung" is in Hanja on the front-gate sign, but I guess if you can actually find the sign, you'll also see the itty-bitty Canadian flag. As Pink Freud said, go left at the intersection where you see the GS gas station, staying on the left-side of the street and you'll see it on the left a short distance down the road. Cops won't be of any use to you. I actually stopped into a cop-shop and they had no idea what I was on about - at that point I was no more that 500 metres away from the place. |

Just go to end of Subway number 1 get in a taxi... call the consulate and they will tell the taxi driver where to go.
It's in the middle of woop woop or the boonies as some say.
It's in the direction of busan station from downtown but I forget the subway number.
They mailed me someone's marriage certificate instead of my papers. I hope they didn't fax the marriage certificate instead of my stuff to the R.C.M.P. |
