Got in last night, not entirely sure where I am, I am off to explore. I believe I am near Ogeum station but not sure. Anyone in my neck of the woods want to show two newbs around? Let me know. Sorry for any spelling errors or grammer errors at a PC bong and can't figure out if there is MS Word or not.

PS No cell phone yet pm me!

Welcome Big man! I don't live near you so I can't show you around. If you have your address written down on some paper then you should just go explore yourself. You can always hail one of the thousands of cabs and show the driver the paper. That's what I did when I first arrived here. Anyway, hope you have a good day.

Have fun exploring. Be sure to take your address with you so you can get home.

MS Word? Write it down just like that and take it to the guy at the desk. He will understand and tell you yes or no. If he helps you, buy him a cup of coffee (W200) and he will be your friend for life...or as long as you continue to go to that PC Bahng.

Are you in Seoul?

You need someone to show you how to get around- subway/buses/taxis.

Ogeum station (say, Ogum yuck to taxi) is in Songpa Gu, near the Olympic Park. I lived and worked around there in the past, and figure it may be as good an area as any to live in. Have fun. We're in the same boat, different countries.

Here's another wiki thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songpa-gu

Welcome. I remember when I first came here. Nobody was really interested in helping me out with anything, especially the people I worked with. If you need any help with anything, let me know.

OK so found out where I am like 10 minutes from Gaerong station, luckily I have a few friends here and one of them helped get us set up with a t card and about to leave for my first day at work. Thanks for all the advice and I will talk to you all in the future.
