i went looking this weekend as well for a tent and found that e-mart isn't carrying them at their store right now because it's not "camping season". you can order them online from e-mart. other stores that focus on hiking will have high prices 2 man tents that'll run over 180,000 won.
best bet is to visit some other e-mart like place such as GS Mart, Lotte Mart, etc.
As per the Miss Seoul's advice...maybe the city-folk don't camp but out here in kangwon-do there are plenty of campers.
best bet- online shopping or you'll have to wait until next spring for e-mart to set up their tent displays. |

i got a decent one for 45,000 off of gmarket.co.kr they have an english site and they take bank transfers. |

I got a decent 4 person tent from Big Ten Sports in Emart last week. Cost me 119,000 won, i think. |
