I'm trying to figure out where the closest Homeplus or Homever is and having zero luck. I tried the website but it was like click on a random name then laboriously search the subway map for the unfamiliar name of the nearest subway. I clicked on "Jamsil" and according to the map that one is in Bucheon! Does anyone have a list in English or something? I'm in Gangnam now.

Searching Dave's just got a whole bunch of "damn, I love Homeplus" posts. Yeah, I know, I want to love it too. Where the hell is it?

My phone ran out of time just as she was going to tell me!

This is why I hate phones and always do internet first. Anyone else have any helpful info?

There is one in Jamshil. Catty corner from Lotte World is Golden Castle (or whatever the name is, it's a big gold building on the corner)...continue on east down Olympic Street (not the one that crosses the river) about 100 meters or so. Turn left.

Alternatively, you can start back at the corner, walk north toward the bridge to the first small street that goes east and follow that street.

Don't know where you are, but there's a Homeplus at Mullae Station, and one at Yongdu Station.

The Jamshil one is closest to you. Check the map that Huh Kyoung Young linked to or this one:
http://corporate.homeplus.co.kr/store/store_search/store_map.aspx?store=jamsil
Jamsil exit 7 or 8 (there is no 9).

Awesome, thanks!

Pay as you go is the best phone plan, but it can be annoying. I never used the whole ten dollars in a month before!

GEEZ!

The "Where is Jamsil Homeplus" & "Where are the Adult/Sex stores"

threads should be made into a sticky thread...

the same question keeps getting asked every month...

The Jamsil Homeplus... (see map) -

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1306/1449178497_f710c89f81.jpg?v=0

Lotte Station - Exit 8 - you should be standing directly in front of Lotte Gold Castle... - walk (away from Lotte - not towards Lotte - walk towards SongPa-gu Office) - you will walk across the small street that will have you standing in front of what used to be Chillis restaurant (but has now been changed into a Korean/Japanese restaurant)... look into the sky about ex-chillis you will see the Homeplus sign on top of their store..) - you just have to walk behind what used to be Chillis....

The Cheonho Homeplus... (see map)

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1190/1449178595_ddc54e9bb8.jpg?v=0

still under construction (not sure when it will be finished - but the construction guys are working hard each day) - its right next to the Cheonho post office... (or opposite from the Cheonho police station) - or opposite the Cheonho "2001 Outlet" - which is really the Cheonho Kims Club"...

Cheonho Station - exit 3 - you should be standing on the corner where Hyundai department store is - walk away from Hyundai department store towards the corner of the next street (which has that new "Daewoo Officetel towers" and where the 1000won shops are.... walk around the corner - you should now be standing infront of the Cheonho post office.... the new Homeplus is being constructed next to the post office.... stop walking... (look across the street) - you will see the "2001 Outlet" (which has "Kims Club" downstairs and the police station next door.....)

p.s. - YATA-Boy - not helpful at all - you want the OP to get lost??

why not just ask a person on the street? usually they can at least point you in the right direction or find someone nearby who might be able to explain it in english...

"Home puh-law-suh awdiayo?"

note that saying 'home plus' like a normal english speaker will result in blank stares. konglishee FTW!
