| One of the guys from Miami ink, who is tattooed from head to toe, said he didnt want a girl who was tattooed (he said hed accept a few small tattoos, but nothing big) and he also said he didnt want a girl who has slept around; although, he definitely isnt a virgin. |

| Never heard of him or the show but am I correct in assuming he went to prison and realized what a douche he was? |

| I've heard it rumored that a significant minority of hairy chested men don't want a hairy chested woman. It's probably the same with men with tats. |

Am I correct in assuming that you are a heavily tattoed, sexually promiscuous female who's heart is now broken by the revelation that he can never be yours? |

| It's quite simple: certain features of appearance and mannerism that may be attractive in men are not attractive in women and vice versa. As strange as it must seem for Western women, most heterosexual men do not want to sleep with a version of themselves with breasts and personality disorders, but rather an actual feminine woman. |

You are all missing the obvious reason:
Miami Ink sucks, the tattoos they do suck, and all the people on the show suck.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy tattoo art - LA ink is much better |

Actually, Im don't have any tattoos and I dont bounce from guy to guy.
I just thought it was odd that someone who loves tattoos would be grossed out by them on someone else. It'd be like a rockstar hating people that listen to rock music.

Maybe he associates tattoos with "males". |

I think men view women with a lot of ink as tough which indirectly translates into masculine. As for not sleeping around, I don't think any guy wants that. God forbid you're more sexually experienced than him!
It's called the good ol double standard.
I wanted to get a huge back tattoo at one time or sleeves up to my elbows. What was I thinking??? My taste changed and now I cringe when I see women with a lot of ink. It must severely limit their choices with regard to men. That could have been me, I think to myself! Hell, I cringe when I see men like that even though I used to have the hots for them. Now I don't like any tattoos on guys and am glad I have none. They would scare the types of guys I like now away. |

No need to lie or tell the truth. It's none of their business in the first place. |

That seems like a decent idea but it just does not jive with either a) my self-respect or b) my conscience.
I know Ive done nothing morally wrong nor anything I hope any reasonable critically thinking individual would look down on. And if I care about this guy enough to care what he thinks of me, I probably care about him too much to lie to him.
And what number is reasonable to pick? I dont want anyone to think of me as virginal; I am an adult after all. What number is considered slutty? |
