i've done a search on this topic but my question is a bit more specific. I have a new Wii bought in the U.K. I have plenty of games so i'm not bothered about the region free stuff- in fact, i'd rather keep it all legit anyway.
Now, the T.V systems in the U.K i beleive are PAL. I'm guessing korea follows the U.S.A and has NTSC. My question is, will my U.K system work on a Korean T.V? I know Korean games won't work on my system.
My T.V in korea has an S-Video slot which may change things.
does anyone have a U.K system working here or does anyone know?
many thanks! |

I have a UK Xbox set up here. I had to buy a hdtv-monitor to get the PAL signal working. It just played black and white on normal Korean TV's. I'm not sure about the S-Video cable, but if the tv has component cable connections or HDMI it doesn't matter if it is PAL or NTSC. |

The Wii is great. I played it only once last year. Me and my friends were hurting in the stomach from all the laughing we did. Great system.
Anyways, useless post... carry on... |
