|
|
5 of my classes are studying units about giving directions. (Such as: go straight for 2 blocks, turn right at the park, it's on your left, etc.)
I imagine there is some giving directions game or something, but for the life of me I can't find one online and I don't have the creativity to think of one that would be effective for the class. Any ideas? |

| Try blingfolding one student and have his/her partner direct them through a maze of rearranged desks to find an object in the classroom. |

Colorado is on the right track. That game works like a charm. You could even add a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey section as well, to practice up, down, left, right.
It's tons of fun watching the kids stumble around because their friends are giving them bad directions.
Also, for a bit of extra fun, you could volunteer to be blindfolded yourself and let the kids direct you. They really enjoy it. |
