Picked up a bunch of plants with root stems. They have a full head of greenery on them.

Question...

Should I trim back the upper greenery when I transplant them, or just leave them lush and green?

I will be starting them in water to develope the roots...

Herb, garden people?

Coriander is a hard plant to grow with a good success rate, I would leave the full head of greenery on, and rap the roots stems with wet paper towel, keep some of the soil you first planted them (got them from) in..maybe a hand full extra....

Once you have them in the new pot (put some of that soil you got from their first growing bed in there) let them stay for a day or two, if they don't start to wilt trim a little......good luck, I've found coriander a bugger to grow with really bushy tops here in Korea. But to be honest I've been a bit crap at giving my all........

I wouldn't trim any leaves when replanting as those leaves are necessary.

Trimming the leaves/stems after a few days can encourage growth.....once the plant is settled Cool

Wouldn't that trim have to be like, after a few weeks?

Yes, I am glued to my seat! To trim or not to trim...that is the question.
