Just in case anyone is still wondering about eBay, you've been in a coma for 10 years.

It's all relative. I remember a case where a 17 year old boy conned quite a few people by selling non-existent goods. He managed to rack up 45,000 pounds before he got caught.
For him, Ebay must have been the best thing ever. The people who got scammed probably think Ebay is bollocks.

I like the guy who sold a picture of the PS3. In his description it blatantly said, "You are buying a picture of a PS3."

He put the price at $600 and people bought. They saw the price, assumed it was a PS#, and never read the description.

E-bay raised their rates, and now it's freakin' expensive to sell anything. Plus, they known own paypal, and rape you on charges for that, too.

I'm done with it, unless I'm a buyer. Never a seller again.

Hmmm. No. Ebay is bollocks.

They didn't give us a chance to buy, sell, HELL didn't even give us the chance to bid for anything before telling us our brand new account had abused ebay. This makes them inept, this makes ebay bollocks.

To re-open your account you need to send them recent utility bills ( yeah right, in Korean, good luck) and bank statements. Why would you send that to people who mess up over nothing? More personal information on me? Sure! Help yourself!

So you go to close your account, owing to the fact that ebay is bollocks, but you can't do that because your account is suspended. And the motorbike you wanted to buy to help save the planet and make your husband smile is gone and all that remains is that ebay are incompetent and tiresome.

THUS. Ebay is bollocks.

At least you gave some reasons for your opinion. I had the same problem. I had an account with them many moons ago before coming to Korea. Last year I wanted to bid on something as a gift for my father, but couldn't because my account was suspended. I wrote and asked why. They couldn't tell me why but gave me this laundry list of crap I'd have to do to re-instate it. I told them it was impossible and they could lick my balls for being such incompetent *sshats.

I had a great selling/buying record on Ebay for many years but it's been at least 4 years since I've had anything to do with it. Too many welshers and people stopped giving positive feedback.

Ditto the lousy paypal service. It's kickbacks to the website, and why should I give up even more of my sales than I already do?
