Is there anybody that has used movies to teach English? If so, could you please give me a rundown on what you do, what sites you go to that maybe has tools etc.

Also, could anyone recommend some good movies to study with an ajumma please. Thanks in advance.

If you do a search on youtube and include part 1 some movies will come up.

Watch-movies.net has most movies, but the quality is not always the best.

Dang man, that's cool you can just watch movies without downloading them, but it gave me a full screen popup of a dating site. Usually these sorts of things mean your computer catches a case of malware and Trojans.

Of course, there are pay sites such as Blockbuster that are just what they say they are, but they won't work outside the USA.

First you have to break the movie into bits (1/2 hour 20 minutes), have work sheets prepared of questions they have to answer during the movie and at the end of each section a test. at the end get them to write a review and answer a test. Some people think that movie lessons are easy but to do it well takes work.

To get the movie I recomment torrent. Try to find one with english subtitles as it will help.

good luck

Hey guys thanks for the comments and help. One movie I found worked really well today was "little miss sunshine". They loved it and really got into it. So if you're thinking of using movies for study later on, then I definitely recommend this one Smile
