				| I'm thinking about buying a chipped Korean Wii. I know where to download lots of games from and I'm thinking it will be pretty easy. I know the chip makes it region-free, but does this mean it can play PAL, NTSC and NTSC-J games? When I download the games do I have to get a specific region version of it? Obviously I want to download either the PAL or NTSC versions.
The only reason I think you may not be able to do this is because the guy in the shop said they only had Jap versions of some games, like Super Smash Bros. I wasn't sure if he meant that english versions didn't work on the chipped Korean Wii.

				| I have a modded japanese wii. It will play any American NTSC game in english. As well, I have been downloading NTSC games without any problem and simply burning them to a DVD-R and playing. I don't know whether PAL games would work on my machine, but I've read that there is a program you can download that will make the games region-free. Google is your friend. | |
