|
|
Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away and I'd like to cook a turkey. Does anyone know when COSTCO stocks turkeys - I made one in November last year, but I'd actually like to do it on Thanksgiving Sunday this year if I can.
I was there 10 days ago and no turkeys. |

Puzzled - Thanksgiving is three weeks away. Which Thanksgiving?
thanks for the link, but a 3.5 kg turkey?? That's about 7 pounds. Never seen a turkey much smaller than 11 pounds. Is this some sort of midget Korean turkey?
And 49 kobuks?
I think I'll have bagels and lox. |

Yeah, that freaked me out for just a minute. I'm nowhere near planned enough for Thanksgiving in three weeks... |

Canadian Thanksgiving is about a month away, maybe 6 weeks, I think that's what was meant. |

Korean thanksgiving isn't the real thing. I actually wish I didn't have 5 days off. |

Last year I bought a turkey already cooked at the Lotte Department Grocery Store In Youngdungpo. It was very good and not too expensive. |

My thing is the pumpkin pie. Please let us know when that becomes available. |

A pre-cooked turkey from a Korean dept store....I can't believe it was "very good"
Back home we always have fresh filled turkeys...now, they are very good. |

yeah, doesn't seem very practical if you're single, but if a family or a bunch of people are going to be eating together, it's no major expense. if you all went out for thanksgiving dinner at a hotel here, it'd be a lot more per individual serving. |

I contacted ezshopkorea.com and they can get a 5kg turkey for 73,000 won. They said the prices are higher this year because of bird flu. |

I saw some at Hannam Market last weekend. They had two. They looked to be about 5-7 kgs. |
