Palin and Condi. That will finally put an End to war for all time?
(Endtimes being what they're working towards?)

It'd be different if they had kind hearts, but I don't think so.

Why do you say that, Reese? Is it something you think we should forget? Distance yourself from? That little thing called amnesia.

Not at all. I was just wondering which branch you served in? In which conflict? How many of your children are in the military?

I'm not saying we should forget anything. I'm just suggesting that some folks speak conveniently of war who have never actually seen it.

He was a Sergeant in the National Guard. To avoid Vietnam. Heck, my father was in the National Guard for over 20 years. I'd hardly consider that a qualification.

If you don't see a big difference between Obama and Quayle, you've got serious human evaluation problems.

It is more than what Mr Obama has in that aspect.

What is the big difference?

I by the way gave the edge to Obama but from their profiles on wikipedia it isn't by much at all.

I guess you share John McCain's preferred method of candidate vetting? Laughing

Dan Quayle had an almost universal reputation in Washington as an intellectual lightweight who was obsessed with golf, not politics. The comparison to Obama is laughable.

Dan Quayle!

He's tanned, ready and rested.

And he's got more experience in the Executive Branch than Palin, McCain, Biden and Obama put together.

Hey, if McCain cared so much about EXPERIENCE, how come he didn't pick Dan Quayle to be his running mate????

Palin has two terms to pick for.

Maybe she could do a JFK and pick a close relative for the cabinet.
