Ha! It's Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Sackville. Four "cities" that amalgamated their municipal government some time back. The term is mostly used sarcastically (maybe half a million people total). It is really a great place though, well maybe not Bedford and Sackville so much... |

| Thrush Hremit and The Joel Plaskett Emergency are the best bands ever to come out of Halifax/Nova Scotia. Joel's latest album, Ashtray Rock, is a pretty rockin album. It takes its name from a rock in the woods behind Northcliff Recreation Centre in the Clayton Park area of Halifax. Check it out. |
