Anyone know where I can pick up a reasonably priced mountain bike in either Daegu or Masan? Directions would be great if you know of any.
Cheers. |

I know of a couple of places in Daegu...one right by Hwanguem Samgoeri called Bikestop, and one by the Prince Hotel called Cello. There is also one called Paramount out by Keimyung University.
Bikestop tends to focus on higher end bikes.
Cello is a mom and pop shop, but has some decent equipment. I've never been to Paramount, but some buddies tell me it's alright.
You can find directions to Paramount on the Galbijim Daegu pages where you can also find a link to the shop's webpage. Here is the link:

To get to Bikestop, get to Hwanggeum T intersection (Samgoeri). On the SW corner there is a large electronics store, used to be a Hi mart. From there, walk straight south about 20-30 meters and look right. It's set in a bit behind a parking lot, but not hard to see.
Hwanggeum Samgoeri is about a 20- minute walk stright south from Bomeo Station on the #2 subway line.
Getting to Cello is kind of hard to describe.
Good luck! |
