I'd like some whole wheat pasta, if that exists here. |

Any help much appreciated! Or can anyone suggest a company to import in bulk? |

My wife has a gluten intolerance and we have had pasta shipped to Korea. We haven't found it for sale in Korea, unless you eat Thai rice noodles. You can get gluten free food shipped to Korea from Amazon.com. They sell things in bulk. We have bought food from a place called the Gluten Free Trading Co., because it is from my home town. From either place, the shipping cost will be about as much or more than the actual cost of the food. |

E-mart has an organic section which has whole wheat pasta. If you want gluten free find an organic store or pm the person that runs the vegie club. |

Movybuf - Thank you! I'm looking into the gluten free trading company...do you have any other tips for importing?
D.D - I'm not on the site too often, who runs the vegie shop?
Thanks! |

Sorry more specifically Movybuf, which stores have you bought from on Amazon? Most seem to only ship within the USA. And does your wife import pasta? Which is best from the Gluten Free Trading company?
We're in the same boat - it's actually my girlfriend who is allergic to gluten, I know how difficult it can be sometimes!
Thanks again! |

My friend back in the univeristy days had celiac disease. Whenever he was cooking something really good, like steak, I'd sprinkle flour on it, so I could eat it all myself.

I have actually never purchased anything through Amazon.com, but I just did a quick check on their site and they say they will ship things to anywhere in the world. I'm not sure about Korea's policy on importing dry food items, but I have never had a problem from ordering from the Gluten Free Trading Co.
I would recommend the OrgraN brand for pasta and flour and Annie's Homegrown for Mac n' Cheese. There are a lot of snacks that taste good, but I can't remember the names. There are some gluten free rice snack available in Korea, if you can read the ingredients on the package. |

I heard the military, US and Korea, are going to dump giant bags of flour out of aircrafts all over Korea. Better stay inside! |
