| I tried to get into watching Dexter. First 3 Eps of Season 1. I just don't like any of the characters, actually the main character seemed to have no depth. He's too smug. |

I know what you mean. When I first watched Dexter I thought it was quite pretentious, but stick with it and it becomes intriguing. |

I know what you mean. When I first watched Dexter I thought it was quite pretentious, but stick with it and it becomes intriguing. |

The inner conflict he has, which starts to play out later in the season and beyond; he wants to kill but has to abide my certain rules. Eventually other variables are thrown in and he has legitimate reason to question all the rules he's lived by his whole life. Etcetera.
I guess it's not for everyone, but I love the show. |

Yes I could see this would be happening latter. I should give it another go, I only watched the first 3. |

Is it me or does TV and movies that Hollywood pukes out getting worse?!? A show about a mass murderer who's good at not getting caught. What garbage! |
