|
|
(I posted this under general too)
I was going to set up an Woori bank account because I know you can do oversea remittance at the ATM but my co- teacher said I should use NH bank. She said she talked to the school and they think thats what I should use but I don't know why they would care where I bank.
My questions is has anyone used both these bank? Which is better? Why? Did your school tell you what bank you had to use?
Thanks |

The school probably has their own bank account at NH, so it's easier for them if you get your account at the same bank, however....
they have no right to tell you which bank to deal with. That's up to you.
There are some NH banks which will do overseas remittance, others won't.
If you do go this route, it's good to find out first if they do or not.
My NH doesn't, so I have to haul a wad o' cash over to the KEB when I want to send money home. Pain in the arse, but as far as the NH bank is concerned, I get good service from them.
Good Luck. |
