Was never difficult for me (well besides the dual layer dvds SSBB)
The most important issues are
1. is the game the same region as yours (if not use brick blocker) and change the iso's region setting.. you MUST do both or you risk bricking your machine.
2. they recommend memorex dvd's or ones that are dark.. (not sure exactly what that means) supposedly it is harder on the wii's laser and can burn it out faster..
3. the recommended burning software is IMGBURN.. they said at a slow speed but i have had no problems running at max. |

what do you mean burn it out? is this a big risk? do the chips only have a limited lifespan? i have some other chip which also makes the system region free so i assume i can play any region?? |

well, I read in a few places that the lasers can burn out if you use cheap dvd's.. cause it has a hard time reading them and has to keep trying. This will lower the life of the laser.
The region free is great (mine is too) but the problem is when games have software updates on them (example SSBB and Mario cart wii, etc). If that update is not removed (using brick blocker) then it will update your machine and essentially make it as useful as a brick. I always brick block just in case.
As for the changing region thing.. i dont know if it matters, but i do it anyway.. lol. |

playing online is no problem at all. As of now it is undetectable. Mario Kart wii is a good game online. |

Hi
I am having a few problems burning isos. Any American game I have downoaded works perfectly.
Pal games, when burnt, after using brick bocker, are running fine, in black and white. This is when I boot pal60.
How can I change the iso's region setting, preferaby changing it to ntsc?
Thanks |

Are you using component or composite video cables? I just changed over to component cables and my PAL games are finally in color. |

I've been looking at it myself recently. 80,000 in Yongsan to get it chipped. |

I burn Mario Kart Pal version for my modded Korean wii and not only is it in black and white, but the screen is flickering up and down. I used homebrew with Gecko Region Free software version 1.5. and tried using both normal and force pal wii settings. Still does the same thing.
I read about using a component video TV cable, but my TV doesn't have it.
I am new with playing burnt wii games. However, I did manage to get 4 US region games working well including SSBB. What can I do to fix this problem with PAL games? Any suggestions?
Thanks |

I have never had a problem playing PAL games on my Canadian wii.. (here in Korea).
True using RegionFrii v1.21 instead... (actually might be a different version now).
Also, why not just download the N.A version.. then you know it is not PAL |

public sites..
but if you want a private tracker site (that requires one to keep a good ratio) just ask.. BUT if you don't want to at least try to keep a good ratio don't bother asking. |
